Clarification - Staff Screening Reporting process
To clarify the Staff Screening Reporting process released yesterday, this change (no requirement to report) is only for facilities (acute, personal care homes, transitional care centres). The reporting process has not changed for community programs. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to advise impacted staff accordingly.
Prevention and Management of Skin Injury from Personal Protective Equipment - Addendum
In follow-up to the June 9th Call to Action, an addendum has been released regarding Skin injuries from use of PPE. Additional N95 respirators used in Southern Health-Santé Sud have been tested for dressing compatibility. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and implement and share accordingly.
Resident and Patient Transport
A new guideline regarding Resident and Patient transport has been released. A handout to be provided to drivers and assistants has also been developed. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and implement accordingly.
