About the Course
Southern Health–Santé Sud is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all healthcare workers (HCW) and patients/residents/clients. It is the responsibility of Southern Health–Santé Sud to provide training to staff on safe client handling procedures and the equipment required to assist the client to reduce hazards and promote safe work for both the client and each health care worker.

Who Should Attend?
All staff involved in safe client movement.
Note to Participants
This is an active session. The participant should come prepared with proper footwear and clothing conducive for participating in the Safe Client Handling Techniques. Please wear clothing that is non-restrictive, proper footwear (for example, running shoes), and minimal amount of jewelry.
