COVID-19 Vaccine: Expansion of Third Doses to Personal Care Homes

This is to advise that Manitoba, like Ontario and Alberta, is planning to provide a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for residents of personal care homes.  It is anticipated that this program will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

It is important to ensure that this planning coordinates well with the implementation of influenza immunization in personal care homes and that consent processes are completed prior to administration of dose three of COVID-19 vaccine.
