Occurrence Reports for COVID-19 Positive Cases
This communication is a follow-up to the Coronavirus Info and Planning Call to Action - September 9, 2020 for Occurrence Reports for COVID-19 Positive Cases.
To assist staff in the reporting process of these events as Critical Occurrences due to Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living (MHSAL) as a significant public health event. Two standardized occurrence report templates have been created.
- Residents from PCH’s who have tested positive for COVID-19 &/or have passed away as a result of COVID-19 as well as patients in acute care who have passed away as a result of COVID-19
- Staff who have tested positive for COVID-19
Several fields in the occurrence report have been auto-populated for standardized messaging. Print off the appropriate form and fill in the required sections as outlined.
Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review this process and share with all applicable staff.
