COVID-19 Vaccine: Approval/guidance for children aged five to ≤ 11 years
On November 19, 2021, Health Canada authorized the PFizer/Comirnaty pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for use in children aged 5 to ≤ 11. It is expected that there will be sufficient supply available to complete first doses in this pediatric population. Further information about the pediatric vaccine is available here.

Pfizer/Comirnaty Pediatric Vaccine Administration Education
In follow-up to the October 29th Admin Update titled: 2021 Immunization Provider and Anaphylaxis Management Self Learning Packages, the training module for Pfizer/Comirnaty Pediatric Vaccine Administration has been added to the page. The training takes about 30 minutes to complete.
