Change to Masking in Acute Care Facilities and Personal Care Homes
Updated guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada recommends the use of medical masks by all visitors and staff to acute health care facilities and personal care homes. Please note, there is no change to primary or community settings at this time.
Exceptions remain in place for individuals who are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons and for children under the age of five.
