COVID-19 Re-Use of Surgical/Medical Masks
A memo providing information about the re-use of surgical/medical masks in Southern Health-Santé Sud has been released. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review the document, work with Staff Development on scheduling education sessions and purchase the brown bags from Logistics and Supply Chain Management to prepare for implementation.
COVID-19 Point of Care Risk Assessment Tool
Prior to each client interaction, staff must complete a Point of Care Risk Assessment (PCRA) which will direct appropriate measures to protect both health care workers and patients/clients/residents. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors are to review and implement accordingly.
