A revised guide to support PPE Use for Healthcare Leaders and Teams has been released. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to review and implement accordingly.
Hand Sanitizer Conservation Message Reminder
As indicated on the June 18th Call to Action, a reminder that Infection Prevention and Control routine practices and additional precautions provide hand hygiene direction about the use of both hand sanitizer (alcohol based hand rub) and hand washing with soap and water. Departments and programs are requested and encouraged to increase the use of soap in order to conserve hand sanitizer. Directors of Health Services and Program Directors (or delegates) are to remind staff of this conservation method.
