The Regional Palliative Care team is offering a palliative care workshop.
Topic: The Palliative Approach, giving attendees the tools to apply palliative care concepts to practice.

All disciplines of staff are welcome to attend.

0915 - 1045 – Taking Ownership & Tools for Use
1045 - 1100 – Coffee break
1100 - 1230 – Understanding the Dying Patient’s and the Family’s Experience
1230 - 1300 – Lunch
1300 - 1345 – Last days and Hours
1345 - 1430 – Difficult Conversations
1430 - 1445 – Coffee break
1445 - 1530 – Grief
1530 - 1600 – Stress and Self Care
1600 - 1615 - The Palliative Team
1615 - 1630 – Questions/Wrap Up/Evaluations

- Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
- No registration fee for this session.
- Refreshments will be provided but participants will be responsible for their own lunch and/or snacks.
- Note: This is not a mandatory or paid workshop. Nurses can apply for NRRF if available to them.
