- ECG Rhythms Review (sinus, atrial, junctional, ventricular, AV blocks)
- Electrode placement for 3-5 lead monitoring and 12/15 lead ECG
- Introduction to 12 Lead ECG Interpretation
- Review anterior, septal, lateral, inferior, right sided and posterior myocardial infarctions.
- Case Studies
Who Should Attend?
Recommended for staff who have some prior knowledge of ECG rhythm analysis.
May be helpful as prep for an ACLS course.
Participants will need access to a computer with camera, speakers and a microphone in order to participate in this virtual workshop.
Note to Participant
- This is a virtual learning session; you will want to view on a computer/laptop in order to see the content clearly. Due to the nature of the content, this session is not suitable to view on a phone or handheld device.
- Please test internet capabilities and virtual link prior to the session.
- You will require a camera/microphone on your device in order to actively participate. Please speak to your department lead or local education facilitator if you do not have access to these.
- You will require the PowerPoint notes for this session (these will be emailed to you with printing instructions prior to the course). You will be measuring and counting rates and rhythms and you will require these printed notes in order to participate.
- Staff are encouraged to bring medical calipers and a calculator.
- No registration fee for this session
- Registration closes (1) week prior to the session.
- If less than 4 participants register, the session will be cancelled.
